New York Times, September 3, 1933NEW YORK (AP) The scientific world was amazed by reports from the 1931 Miskatonic University expedition into uncharted Antarctica. The entire world was shocked by the tragedy which followed. How credible are Miskatonic University reports of fossilized remains of ancient life forms pre-dating all known terrestrial life?
Now a new larger expedition will brave the mysteries of the icy continent. Included in this expedition are three women - racing to beat the popular Acacia Lexington to be the first woman at the South Pole. One of these is the beautiful actress Rachel VanBuren, who claims to provide funding for the expedition out of interest, and has been in negotiations with the Starkweather-Moore expedition since July of this year.
