Samuel's Drawings

Karen Ekloff, somewhat soft look to her, floating about swampy water and trees, with vague hints of angel wings about her shoulders.

An old cemetary, headstones cracked and worn. Hazel now recognizes this as the one behind the Ekloff estate.

Several pictures of Timothy Ekloff:

• Standing beside a red sports car. The wind blows his scarf and he looks out over the ocean on the other side of the car.
• In high mountains; he stands on a peak looking toward a larger mountain connected by a ridge to the one he stands upon. There is snow on the ground.
• Looking tired and dejected, in a small wood enclosure. The slats run horizontally and are worn and warped.

Several pictures of a robust but older looking man in and around the swamp. This is "Irving" whom Samuel said "It wasn't his fault". One picture shows him at the same plantation house as the priest from Alan's collection. (You now identify this as Irving Helzer)

• in the swamp, a faint glow about him
• at a white chapel which looks very well kept and made of wood - the swamp behind it appears ominous and a few tendrils seem to be creeping toward the chapel.
