Hu
The sculpture stands in a small clearing just outside a forest. The forest is deciduous with large trees (although not abnormally so). Lower brush is scattered between them. The forest runs (relative to your orientation in London) northeast to southwest, more or less in a line. The grass prairie covers the other half of your view. You can see gently rolling hills and the occasional speck of dark which could be rocks, could be buffalo, or could (especially in a Chancel) be something else entirely. A small flock of black birds makes a short flight not too far away. Turning back to the wood, the person you saw continues to sit, leaning against a tree. It is difficult to make out features, but s/he appears to be dressed brightly. S/He is not wearing a hat. Next to them there appears to be a trail going into the woods. It travels for about 50 meters before jogging left and getting obscured by the trees. The statue is present here, looking just the same as it did on the other side.

Hu shifts into the Chancel and calls out to the figure, "Hello! Sorry to intrude, but I was wondering what this place is!" He walks towards him or her, in a fairly normal fashion, waving his hand above me so they can see me.

As Hu strides forward, the boy jumps up in alarm. He appears to be about 18 years old and caucasian. His body and clothes are made of glass. His clothing appears stiffer than normal fabric, but not as rigid as you would imagine glass to be, despite its appearance. You also note that, despite the fact that you can dimly see the forest through his body, you cannot see him through his shirt. It almost seems like the glass that makes up his shirt (and pants, and shoes) runs all the way through him and his hands and head simply are set on top of the appropriate ends.

"Who are you?" he demands, obviously worried about this intrusion. His voice has a musical quality to it, as if it all originated in a series of glass tubes, chimes, and whistles within his chest.

"Whoa there!" Hu says, slowing to a stop and holding his hand out in front of him, palm up. "I'm Hu. I noticed that there statue over there and found my way here. Now I'm wondering whereabouts here is. Can you help me out? I don't mean you any harm, but if you want me to go, I will."

"Hu... Jackson?" he asks looking at you quizzically.

Hu says to the glass boy beside him, "You got it in one!"

Hu notices that the young man with whom he is conversing is not the only thing made of glass here. The trees, the bushes, the grass, even the dirt and pebbles all seem to be made of glass as well. Only the statue and Hu's own person appear to be otherwise. That said, the grass and the trees seem to be bending and blowing in the light breeze in a most unglasslike way.

The young man starts at the same moment Hu hears a sound behind him. Turning, he sees that Nikita is now in the Chancel with you, followed swiftly by Desiree. (Other than that, they haven't moved from his position next to the statue.)

"Brother, there you are," Nikita says, walking up to The Glass Man and Hu. "We've been looking all over for you!"

Hu exclaims "Cooee! Hey folks! I was just talking to my friend here ... um, I didn't catch your name ... trying to figure out where we are. I suppose the rest of the gang will be along shortly. I hope Neville manages to keep his manners. We are univited guests here, after all."

Hu turns back to the boy. "Is there someone we should talk to? A Visitor's Center, perhaps? We were directed here without many instructions and I'm hoping someone could fill us in."

"I apologize for not knocking," Nikita says. "I looked for a way to, but after Hu vanished, I figured it best to go in after him, in case he got into any trouble."

The glass boy swiftly bows. "I am sorry my Lord. I did not recognize you from the description I was given. Please forgive my insolence. Allow me to welcome you to Locus Pararch and thank you for the most generous offer of assistance that your Family has made."

He rises again. "I can try to answer your questions if I can. I have been instructed to escort you to the Green where my Lords and Lady should provide better answers that I can give myself."

Again he bows.

"Pray don't trouble yourself over your failure to recognize dear Hu - for some reason, descriptions of him tend to be Woefully incomplete by any observer's standard, although I can't think why, for it should Suffice to describe him as simply Adorable, shouldn't it?" exclaims Desiree.

At this point, Silas appears inside the Chancel. Allegra appears immediatly after Silas. A few moments later, Neville arrives as well.
