Asked Hacken to help us in more reconaissance; we expect that Varn's forces will attempt to steal an experimental airship from Temerjin. Hacken refuses to fly with Zelda, due to her attempt to take control of the airship last time. Tried to neutralize the nun, she took offense and left us. Apparently for the better - her family was looking for her and we do not need that complication.
It is likely that the pirates will act soon; Hacken suggests there is one hangar that would be able to house the airship. We will head to one of the "uninhabited" zones between houses and proceed from there.
Caught up with the airship. It appears that Raskin -- the wizard from the caravan raid -- and a new fellow, Gharkin were in on this theft of Temerjin's airship. Gharkin appears nearly invulnerable, my blades did nothing. Diego and Beatrix fought on the ground while I attemped to divert the airship..
This Gharkin is difficult. I know not how to wound him. He must have a weakness. Until I find it, though, challenging him will be difficult. He is powerful, though not elegant. He even managed to force me from the airship.
Met another girl, Taka, who joined up with us briefly. The airship appeared to be heading toward Beshm's territory. Headed that way, meeting up with Diego, Beatrix and even Zelda the Nun there. Apparently she decided to be useful after all. The airship had blown a large hole in the roof and a firefight was ongoing between Beshm's men and the pirates.
After taking out a number of pirates on the roof, we headed down into the wreckage of the building. Found Gharkin and Raskin in the end carrying out something suspicious. It seems as if more -all?- of the ninja pirates have joined this Varn; Scorpion was there and we fought. She said "they said you were dead." Who said I was dead? Why, if this is the claim, does she fight me now instead of allying with me? I must find out the truth; the extent to Five Claw's mutinous deceit.
In an attempt to stop Gharkin, the others attempted to destroy the item while I was engaged with Scorpion; Taka eventually succeeded. Unfortunately this seemingly released a large wormlike creature with wings which then destroyed the rest of the building.
Fortunately, a monk named Luma managed to stop the creature. He tells us this was one of seven seals to hold the "Children of the Flame." Presumably, releasing them is Gharkin and Raskin's (Varn's?) goal.
